Over the past two years, the Rethinking Transport Initiative, led by GIZ in partnership with Agora Verkehrswende has brought together African stakeholders from academia, civil society, and the private sector. Together, they identified the key strategies and opportunities to accelerate the transition to sustainable transport in Africa. These turning points are now presented in the flagship publication “Turning Points: Enabling Sustainable Transport in Africa” which will be launched in this webinar on 4 September 2026 (10:00-11:30 CEST).
