Rethinking Transport Lab, 09-13 February 2026

Thank you for your interest in the  upcoming Rethinking Transport Lab on Green Logistics. The Lab will take place in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. This Lab is organised by GIZ in collaboration with Kuehne Climate Center and Agora Verkehrswende. To apply, please fill out the form below until 10th August 2025, 23:59 (CEST). Please note that false statements in the application will result in exclusion from participation.

Who can participate? 

We welcome applications from African young professionals who possess a strong passion for sustainable transport and satisfy the following qualifications:  

  • Citizenship & residence in a country on the African continent (please note that this applies for the time of application as well as for the duration of the Lab)

  • Education: university degree in logistics, information technology, supply chain management, economics, urban and regional planning, transportation planning, engineering, environmental science, or correspondingly combined fields of study (e.g. information logistics, mechanical engineering)

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in areas such as logistics and supply chain management, engineering, transport and infrastructure planning, or other relevant fields.

  • Language: ability to understand and communicate in English  

  • Motivation & collaborative spirit: strong commitment to sustainable transportation and reducing carbon emissions, innovative thinking & ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse and multidisciplinary team

After successfull submission of the application form, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail. The review and selection of all statements of interest will start from 18th August 2025. We aim to inform selected candidates aproximately 3 weeks after the application deadline.
